Speech Therapy Job Summary:
Kiki’s Children’s Clinic LTD (KCC) is looking for a part-time, experienced and dynamic self-employed paediatric SLT to join our multidisciplinary team as of 1st September ’18 for 2-3 working days.
KCC, established in 1996, is a thriving South-West London based practice with an international team of PTs, OTs and SLTs offering high quality therapy to babies and children. The team of experienced therapists value early intervention and a multi-disciplinary approach in striving to help children to live their lives fully. Experienced in seeing a wide variety of childhood conditions from babyhood to early teens, KCC also runs handwriting and social skills groups and offers TLP.
Therapy sessions are offered in clinic, at home and in schools in the Greater London area. The caseload is varied and stimulating. The position holders will be involved in skill development within our multi-disciplinary team from the SLT perspective, as well as employing their specialist knowledge as an SLT to ensure KCC offers comprehensive support programmes that enable the child, the family and the educational setting.
Relevant qualifications, HCPC registration and enhanced DBS checks required;
Must be a ‘hands on’ therapist with a passion for treating children;
Minimum 3 years postgraduate paediatric experience;
Training and experience in Therapeutic Listening desirable;
Experienced in delivering in-clinic and in-school therapy services;
Must be competent in carrying out EHCP assessments and reports;
Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills;
Highly organised, efficient with the ability to work independently;
Excellent rate of pay and flexible working hours;
Use of own transport would be beneficial.
