I have been in the education industry for over 17 years as a Special Education Teacher and as a Speech-Language Pathologist/Audioulogist. I am a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist and have been employed within the educational system for 6 years in USA. In addition to my master’s degree in Speech Pathology, I have completed my Speech-Language Clinical Fellowship Year in the United States that adds my competence in different skills (e.g. evaluation, treatment, management and interaction). Special Education Skills: Assessment and intervention of speech and language disorders using subjective and objective tools, working with profound and complex needs K-12 population in speech and language impairment, ASD, and severe learning difficulties. Recently trained in American school system methods and processes of training special education skills to students such as Augmentative and Alternative Communication(AAC) and other receptive/Language disorders. I can speak/read basic Spanish and understand conversational Spanish language.
I have demonstrated sound qualities of resourcefulness, patience, and perseverance in addressing students’ needs, thereby helping me to earn their confidence in my commitment to their improvement. Finally, my creative and enthusiastic approach to therapy allows me to quickly secure students' interest and often contributes to positive learning experiences.
