With 20+ years experience I have worked with both pediatric and adult clients. From school settings, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation to now acute hospital centers. My current duties are to evaluate, treat and determine discharge needs for adult patients who have suffered from neurological events which have impacted their cognition, speech, language and/ or swallowing function. I am proficient with video fluoroscopy, Lee Silverman Voice Treatment and neuromuscular electrical stimulation via Vital Stim training. I have supervised clinical fellows and mentored novice clinicians into new settings. Many years of experience has allowed for growth in individual therapeutic activity development, adaptability in changing healthcare environments and flexibility within daily teams.
